Non-tourist visits, including work of any kind, journalism, volunteering and study, need a visa before you travel. You can apply for an extension of up to 90 days at a SAIME office.
Arriving and border checks
Venezuelan dual nationals must use Venezuelan documents to enter and leave. Children travelling without both parents need a travel permit.
To enter from Brazil, you need a yellow fever certificate. Declare goods worth more than 1,000 US dollars and cash of 10,000 US dollars or more.
